Ghanaian youngster Issah Abass emerged as the hero for NK Olimpija Ljubljana in their win over Triglav in the Slovenian top-flight league on Sunday.
Ljubljana, who are few matches away from being handed the Slovenian Prva Liga title, did not start the match in the best of shapes as they were battered with ball possession by a Triglav side who racing against time to maintain their league status.
But Ljubljana found their rhythm as the game wore on and deservedly went ahead through Issah Abass on the stroke of halftime.
Abass' strike proved to be the only goal of the game despite a late onslaught by Triglav.
The Ghanaian prodigy lasted full throttle of the game as he takes his tally for the season to seven.
Ljubljana are sitting atop of the standings with 52 points, four points better off second place NK Maribor.
