Spokesperson for the Ayew family, Fiifi Tackie says Andre’s move to Fenerbahce on loan is good for him.
Andre Ayew had being a transfer target of many teams including Celtic and Besiktas but decided to join the Sukru Saracoglu Stadium outfit on loan following the relegation of Swandea.
“I think Andre Ayew’s move to Fenerbahce is very good and the best for him,” Fiifi told footballmadeinghana.com
The Ghana Black Stars skipper on his part stated during his unveiling that his formet teammate Stephen played a key role in his Fenerbahce move.
“I spoke with Stephen Appiah before coming here, he is part of our national team, he is the team manager so I see him a lot”
“He told me unbelievable stuffs about the club-the training facility, the mentality of the fans. That is the club that wants to win and the fans are tough when they don’t get what they want,”
“We spoke a lot and he told me it will be a best choice for me to go to a club which has a new project, big fans, big stadium, Europe to play….He loves Fenerbahce and I could feel it when he was telling me,” Ayew added.
