Singida United have retracted their earlier tweets which indicated that Ghanaian attacker Hans Kwoffie has been kidnapped in Tanzania.
The club earlier wrote on their official Twitter account that the player has been kidnapped.
But just few hours after tweeting, the club has stated with another tweet that the player has joined his teammate in training.
“Our Ghanaian – deadly striker Hans Kwofie joined his team-mates in training at Nyamagana Stadium today morning” they tweeted.
The 29-year-old joined the Tanzanian club on a free transfer after terminating his contract mutually with Egyptian club Smouha SC last month.
Kwofie finished the 2016/17 Ghana Premier League season as the top scorer with 15 goals.
