Kwadwo Asamoah picked his fifth yellow card of the season in Inter's clash with Udinese
Ghana midfielder Kwadwo Asamoah has been suspended for Inter Milan's game against Chievo Verona on Saturday in the Serie A.
The midfielder picked his fifth caution of the season against his former club Udinese, ruling him out of Inter's final game of the year.
This means Asamoah will have more time than expected to rest, prepare and come back stronger after Christmas when they play Napoli on Wednesday.
The 30-year-old joined the Nerazurris in the summer from Italian champions Juventus and has become a key cog in coach Luciano Spalleti's side.
Asamoah has played 20 games this season for Inter, 14 of them in the Serie A and has one goal to his credit.
Inter Milan are currently third on the Serie A table after 16 games in the campaign.
The Ghana international will return to the squad for the game against Napoli at the San Siro on Boxing Day.
