Ebenezer Ofori is delighted to get off the mark in style after netting a stupendous goal in New York City FC's season opener on Saturday.
The Black Stars midfielder opened the scoring with spectacular drive from distance in the 2-2 draw at Orlando City.
''First of all, I will thank God for this away draw. It’s better than nothing and I think we did go as a team. This is the start of the season and we coming together like this, it will help us,'' he said in his post-match interview.
''I am very happy starting a season and getting a goal keeps the rhythm going so I’m very happy.''
Last season, Ofori managed just one goal in 23 appearance for the side who reached the Eastern Conference semi-final.
