Cape Coast Jan.7, GNA - King Solomon drew goalless with Afienya United in their Zone Three Middle League match at the Robert Mensah Sports stadium in Cape Coast on Thursday.

Both teams have thus earned four points each with one match at hand.

In a match characterised with rough house tactics and series of hold ups, Kumasi based referee J.K.Dzove, had to issue two red cards and three yellow cards to inject some form of discipline into the match. King Solomon started the game in a whirlwind fashion right after the referees whistle and created several goal chances but their forwards squandered them.

In the 42nd minute, Afienya United's full back, Richard Afare who was guilty of many rough house tactics paid dearly for it when he was red carded for a second bookable offence while John Kennedy of King Solomon was also given the marching off orders in the 75th minute for insulting behaviour.

The game from then on became a ding dong affair before the end of full time.

In another encounter at the Sekondi Gyandu Park, Hotspur beat Vora by two goals to nil (2-0).

Hotspur has 3 points while Vora has no point.
