Ghanaian midfielder Afriyie Acquah could move to the MLS this summer with several clubs in the States on his heels.
Acquah’s current contract with Empoli expires this summer and he is bent on moving abroad as he seeks a fresh challenge.
According to American Soccer website Pro Soccer, several teams in the American topflight are bent on having Acquah in their fold and they will swoop for him this summer.
In January this year, Vancouver Whitecaps and Seattle Sounders were interested in signing him but the deal failed to go through.
Footballmadeinghana.com understands that Atalanta are the front runners to sign Acquah as they have made their intentions of signing him known after he was recommended by Josef Martinez who played with him at Torino in 2015.
