Spanish La Liga side, Celta Vigo has given new signing Joseph Aidoo two weeks to get some rest before joining the team for pre-season training ahead of the 2019/2020 season.
The player recently signed a five-year contract with the La Liga outfit to boost their defensive department for the upcoming season where they are hoping to go head to head with the big boys of the league.
Having recently represented Ghana at the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) tournament, the club has decided to give him some days to rest to ensure he returns to training fresh and focused.
The former KRC Genk defender was unveiled as a new addition of the Sky Blues on Friday at the club's Balaidos stadium.
According to reports, Celta Vigo splashed about € 5 million to sign the center-back who is highly rated following his impressive performance last season.
In the 2018/2019 season, he played 33-matches for Genk and helped them to clinch the Belgium Pro League title.
