Spanish giants Atletico Madrid are keen on making a move for Ghanaian defender Mohammed Salisu in the summer transfer window.
The Rojiblancos are set to trigger the buy out clause of the Real Valadollid player, which is at 12 million Euros.
The Madrid based club could sell defender Stefan Savic in the summer and look set to use that money to bring in Salisu from Valadollid.
Atletico will however loan him back to Real Valadollid just for a year as part of the deal to sign the player.
Mohammed Salisu is highly sought after by several clubs in Europe including English Premier League giants Manchester United.
The 20-year old has had an outstanding campaign, since earning promotion to the senior side. He has made 27 La Liga appearances and has a goal to his credit.
