Welsh football pundit, Robbie Savage believes that Thomas Partey will be a good signing for Mikel Arteta's side next season.
The Ghanaian has been constantly linked to Arsenal during the COVID-19 period and has been reported that the player is interested in making a move to the Premier League.
The potential transfer could be in disarray with Liverpool entering the race for the player.
Savage believes that a defender and Thomas Partey will be a huge boost for the Gunners.
‘I think Arsenal defensively… will they go for a strong midfield player?’ he told BT Sport last week.
‘I know Thomas Partey from Atletico Madrid has been talked about. I think he would be a good signing.'
‘And a defender, whoever that may be.’
The 26 year old returned to training with his Atletico Madrid team mates on Saturday.
