Let student there know that you had your foundation from there so they can be motivated to study hard. Glad to see that Prof Kobbi Mensah too has risen to the top. Very proud of you guys.

Are you referring to UPSA , formerly IPS? Because as I read his profile, I was surprised. I remember in 2013 when I was doing my national service at the Adenta municipal assembly, there was a permanent worker in my office who mentioned he was close friends with Ato Forson back at IPS. And he spoke about him as though he really knew him. So I was a bit surprised not seeing UPSA on his profile; I was beginning to wonder if my senior colleague at work had lied to me until I saw your comment. It surely must be Ato Forson who wet to IPS ; now UPSA. And if indeed he did attend that school, I agree it would be wise to add it to his resume.

UPSA has come a very long way and I’m particularly proud of what the Prof Alabi did there. In 2009 , when I’d just enrolled in UCC, I visited my bestfriend in IPS and I was so “disgusted” at what he called his “university” . The compound was covered in red sand; after touring the school with my friend, my hair was red lol. I wondered how a tertiary institution could have such poor infrastructure.

Fast forward to about 4 or 5 years ago, as I drive by the campus , I see so much transformation. Then one day I decided to drive in to have a look for myself . I was very pleased. Tarred and paved roads , massive infrastructure. I inquired about the transformation and was told it was spearheaded under the leadership of Prof Alabi. I’d never had any “reverence” for the man until that day. I developed so much respect for him and if all our leaders can be efficient and effective as he was, Ghana will do so well
