The price floor was introduced to protect GOIL's inefficiency. Star oil is also our own. We want fuel at reduced cost not wakye, Gobe or Kenkey at the filing station.

  • Nene Sackitey 1 day ago

The policy is never meant to protect any small OMC but rather protect GOIL other inefficient, greedy OMCs with over bloated overheads.

The dollers should be pumped to save the cedi, will you leave your children hungry when you have money in the room? It's a constitutional duty for the BoG to protect the cedi

If government really wants to protect the consumer they should opt for the price ceilings. Price floor only protects the business man to the detriment of the consumer

why countries with the most Christians are so greedy for money, come to the Middle East petrol so cheap even though some of those countries don't really refine oil

  • Blue Pen 1 day ago

@Musa. Your religious bias has messed up your thinking completely. You compare fuel prices in Ghana with fuel prices in oil-rich Middle Eastern countries? Get some specialist help.

My brother, muslims are in charge of Nigeria. How corrupt are they. Under them Nigeria should have been like the middle East. Are they. Greedy Hausas in power.
