  ISSER have a dream. That is true, that the poverty level in the three northern regions is high. Even, the immigrants from the three northern regions who travel to the south for greener pastures have made the cities and towns congested. It gives the government high cost in expenditure, sanitation and social amenities.
  Government will do well by sharing growth.

  The universities and research centres must also make their existence more relevant than is currently the case. Forge strategic partnerships with distict assemblies, private sector and CSOs, National Service Secretariat, etc.

  I concur with the vision of ISSER. The shared growth agenda needs to be seriously pursued for proportionate development of the nation. This among others would ensure regional balance and this would definetely trickle down to the MDA for the overall development of the country. I could agree with you more than this, Director and Prof. Asante of ISSER.
