  2-HE THEN STARTED PUTTING RISTRCTIONS ON FISHERMAN AND CUSE MANY OF FISHERMAN JOBS TO GET LOST
  3- HE THEN STOP 2ND HAND REFEGERATOR BUSNISS IN GHANA SENDING THOSENDS TO LOSE THEIR JOBS.
  4-HE THEN CAME OUT WITH LAWS FORCING TAXI DRIVERS TO BELONG TO UNION AND PAY UNION FEES THAT THEY DONT WANT OR NEED CUSING RHOSEND OF JOBS TO GET LOST.
  THIS IS ONLY SOME OF THE DAMEGE MAHAMA AND NDC ARE DOING TO GHANA ECONOMY EVERY DAY THEY COME UP WITH
  MORE RULES AND REGULATIONS TO KILL JOBS IN GHANA THEY MUST BE STOPED OR GHANA WILL GO COMPLETELY BUST

  The usual showmanship instead of constructive engagement is at play here once again from another corrupt and inept government agency. This will come to nothing! Bribes will be collected and all the closed restaurants and hotels will be opened without any improvement in standards.The only gain the Ghanaian will see will be in the pockets of the corrupt GTA officials who will be marching all the way to a very merry X'mas and happy new year which is just round the bend. Could this probably be the reason for this exercise at this time of the year?

  You should a patronize the catholic Guest House next time. I was there three weeks ago and had a ball. Clean toilettes, baths, beds large for me and the female. A blast at the low price not to be had in Accra or KUMASI.

  This is arbitrary. Let the market operate and these hotels find their own level. Ghana will do well to learn from the Egyptian experience where there are hotels for every price sector.

  The exercise was undertaken by the Ghana Tourism Authority (GTA) for non-compliance with hospitality standards.

  It is extremely difficult from
  the regulations standards point of view for a hotel to be disqualified.
  Therefore those hotels that were implicated should have had very,very, very poor standands.
  The message is money making ...

  the regulations standards point of view for a hotel to be disqualified.
  Therefore those hotels that were implicated should have had very,very, very poor standands.
  The message is money making deserve respect and dignity for customers.
  The bouncing rersults will be rewarding if standards are maintained.
