  Nonetheless, it is such a waste of resource. We must expedite work on the Western corridor gas pipeline to utilise gas from our oil fields to generate electricity and other products.

  Qatar, the world's leading exporter of LPG and one of the world's richest countries thanks to
  their massive LPG export revenues, has the
  commonsense to invest in storing LPG for
  export.
  
  Ghanain leaders are rather doing the reverse.
  
  My take:
  
  Hei Ghana "leaders", know that you cannot reach any layer of hydrocarbons without passing through a layer of natural gas on or offshore because crude oil and natural gas are like twins. Natural gas and crude oil depend on each other to maintain the balance in their co- existence. Thus, the two exist to maintain the balance of nature.
  
  You can never get natural gas without hydrocarbon existence and vice versa. That's how nature creates these two substances.
  
  So why did Ghana government kowtow to such ludicrous agreement.
  
  I BET TULLOW WILL NEVER FLARE THE NATURAL GAS. THEY'LL QUIETLY EXPORT ALL THE LPG ON GHANA'S BLIND SIDE.
  
  WATCH THIS SPACE.
  
  Qatar leaders did that because they knew that they could not invest in oil production without investing in LPG storage and export.
