on drugs- heavy penalties must be sanctioned to any person who imported or sell fake drugs into the market
2.on other goods- the country must enforce guarantee laws- eg auto spare parts must have 3months guarantee of the view that if it is a genuine parts it can last more than 3months
if it got damage before the guarantee expiration , the consumer is backed by the law to get the money back.

A minimum Stardards in itself does not render a product as good quality. Consumers are entitled to cheap low quality products at cheap prices
