That nonsense must stop at Akropong. Many decades ago during the Owura Festival, unauthorized people could be seen walking with Guns and shooting around to frighten people. The situation became worse at the time of Efo Julor John Rawlings when people without any Military or Police background could just carry Guns and fire indiscriminately armed just to frighten people and to just show off to people who they are. Yes, some women, in the name of the 31st December Women’s Stupidly drove in PIZGOA Vehicles and carried such Assault Rifles which they could just fire around stupidly to frighten people. And could we blame them? No, because they were usually very High on Weed and Alcohol and were uncontrollable. . That was the nonsense of the day as Chieftains and Opinion Leaders had to get into hiding. General Akuffo was from Akropong and had been shot to death. Some Military and Police Officers felt they could threaten the local people into submission. Yes, that was the Order of the Day and Efo Julor John Rawlings and Boakye Djan did nothing about such arbitrary nonsense by their cohorts. People at Akropong crawled into their Bedrooms, turned out their lights and prayed for the next 6:00 am to find them alive. That was the time of Military Brutalities and Atrocities at the time.. Women who were unfortunate to be caught up with the Curfew Hours were taken to Military and Police Camps and were raped even if they were married. I am deeply happy that the Military and Police who misbehaved like that had horrible and disgusting deaths. This included Efo Julor John Rawlings, Nkwantabisa, Boakye Djan and the Anlo Ewe murderous maniacs. May their Souls burn tremendously in Hell Fire.

As a native of OKUAPEMAN I strongly believe that it is only the ASANTEHENE who can go deep into the history of the dispute now without favour and fear to settle this ugly chieftaincy disputes between the Queen mother and the paramount chief. I say nobody, not the government not the police can solve this dispute except the Asante king the ASANTEHENE. ASANTEHENE is endowed with wisdom and knowledge and patience to listen to all the feuding parties involved to come to amicably resolution to solve this cancerous situation once and for all to save lives and properties. Thereby bringing peace and development to OKUAPEMAN. I will therefore plead with the elders of OKUAPEMAN and the government to employ the help and services of the ASANTEHENE to bring this disgraceful and dangerous chieftaincy disputes to an end. I think the GA TRADITIONAL COUNCIL recently sought audience with the ASANTEHENE in kumasi to help them solve of the chieftaincy disputes in their area. The Kwahus are doing the same with ASANTEHENE. We the Akuapems can do the same with the Asante Traditional council and the ASANTEHENE to solve this problem. Over to OKUAPEMAN traditional elders before it's too late for everybody.
