  That is what happens when you have greedy Politicians and poor Governance. This was not the situation at the time of Nkrumah, Busia, Afrifa, and Kutu Acheampong. Things started to get very wrong when Efo Julor John Rawlings seized Power and came out with his Retrenchment Policies. Many Government Workers were laid off, Graduates from our Universities were unemployed and some had to leave to other countries to find work at very poor places. Our ladies who defied the advice of the Government and went to Arab Countries were sold into the Sex Slave trade. The accounts of how some of the women were treated in the Arab states were horrific. Some women were forced to have sex with about 20 men in a day. After a month when most of the men in the area have had sex with the women at paid fees to their OWNERS, the women were taken to different locations for other men there. I wish our women will live in peace and poverty than to be sexually abused, maltreated and sold into Sex Slavery. Unfortunately, it is Ghanaian Gangs that lure the ladies with promises of good Jobs but finally sell them to wicked and evil Arab Sex Traders. Let our women listen to what the Government tells them and not what the evil and wicked Sex Traders lure them with.
