The NPP government should let thse illegal miners cover all the pits these illegal miners have dug on the land.There have been complains about the destruction of our forest, farm lands and rivers. Even, there was a documentary film about it for the whole world to watch. Nothing touched slick John Mahama and his notorious NDC government to stop these people.

I wonder why some stupid minority of Ghanaians like idiotic Kofi Adams still support slick John. Please, Nana Addo should drive out all illegal miners including useless Chinese who have no respect for black Africans, but want our minerals. The destruction of our forest, farm lands and rivers is an eyesore.

It is a fact that Kyebi and its surroundings is the headquarters of galamsey, to quote John Mahama. Although, I am not a great fan of JDM, what he said is, and remains the absolute truth! A visit to Kyebi and its surroundings reveals shockingly pitiful sights - the water bodies and vegetation have been destroyed with dangerous pits all over as a result of this crazy galamsey business. One is told that the indigenes are helpless in protecting their land? Whilst some of the indigenes themselves engage in this business, majority of the 'businessmen' are foreigners. Is that true? If that is the case, Who brought them there? How can they travel all the way from their various countries and sneak into the forest, explore and mine comfortably without any resistance or challenge from the indigenes? To me, they are led there by the very indigenes and their chiefs who surely have taken backhanders to allow these criminals to destroy the beautiful vegetation. What is that so called Okyehene Amoatia Ofori Panin doing about this problem that has plagued the entire Okyeman for sometime now? Why is he sitting unconcerned for the land to be destroyed by these foreigners? It really does not make sense that Okyehene sits in silence and see his land being destroyed! I personally can smell rat, and posterity shall not forgive the indigenes who are in cohorts with the criminals to destroy the land in order to enrich themselves at the detriment of the entire Okyeman state. The Okyehene must act now! It is a massive disgrace on his part!
