Let them cancel the Free SHS program throughout Ghana and let us see how many students from the North can go to School. I lived and worked at the North and knew what I am talking about. Mahama and all the NDC students from the North went to school for free even though their parents were wealthy enough to pay. Students from very poor families were forced to pay for their education or could not attend High Schools. Let ALL STUDENTS IN GHANA PAY FOR THEIR EDUCATION. THERE SHOULD BE NO EXCEPTIONS AND LET US SEE HOW MANY NORTHERNERS CAN AFFORD TO. All students should be made to pay. There should be exceptions. Should the students of Abedi Pele, Mahama, and Bawumia have free education because they are from the North when Plantain Farmers from the South pay for their Children’s Education? Let all Ghanaian students pay for everything and the Northern students will suffer. We just waste money to stop conflict in the North. Let them fight and kill each other.

Agyena,make ur point without undermining any tribe,there are many northerners who are holding high positions today,that paid school fees,it is never true that without free shs like many Northerners won't go to school.Nkrumah introduced free Shs in the north,the NDC made it a constitutional provision(Free compulsory basic education and Free progressive shs education),and even commenced with every day student before subsequently adding 125,000 boarders,Akufo Addo came and made it wholesale,What this should tell u is that,both parties understand the importance of education and educating the younger ones who are the future of the country.You repeatedly claim to be old,and so should know better and desist from some remarks which can be deemed as tribalistic or ethnocentric.There are many northerners in parliament and various institutions in Ghana who paid before having an education.
