Abraham Attah Foundation is collaborating with Afri-Gold Impact to embark on a peace campaign tour dubbed “Ghana Peace Drive- Let Ghana Win”.

This project is to educate the public on the importance of maintaining peace before, during and after the presidential and parliamentary elections. The team has produced a documentary that will be used for the education nationwide.

The documentary put together statements from Emmanuel Bombande (former Executive Director of the West African Network for Peace building), Rev. Prof Emmanuel Asante (Chairman of the National Peace Council), Fred Dogbe (Former Secretary of Christian Council), Bright Kweku Appiah (Executive Director of Child Right International), Sheikh Dr. Nuhu Shaributu (National Chief Imam) and Ransford Tetteh (Former President of Ghana Journalists Association) to advice the public against violence.

The team will travel to flash point communities across the country with a video van to show the documentary in the public gatherings and also distribute over ten thousand T-shirts with peace inscription on them for free.

This project is aimed at bringing harmony and providing a peaceful atmosphere for people to co-exit and pursue their dreams and aspiration.

In an interview with Abraham Attah before he left for school in the United State during the weekend, he said “even though I will not be in Ghana during the election, it is important that Ghana remains peaceful before, during and after the election, because this is my home. I still have my family, friends and loved ones in Ghana”.

He also said “Even though I will not be here in person for this project, my presence will be felt in different ways and this project will have a great impact on the country during this election period”.

The project kick starts in October till the election is over. Abraham Attah is a Ghanaian born Hollywood actor known for his role in Netflix original film Beasts of No Nation and Marvel and Sony’s Spiderman.
