Don't allow yourselves to be deceived, vote for Bawumia - Agya Koo tells Ghanaians

Ghanaian actor Kofi Adu, popularly known as Agya Koo, has urged Ghanaians to vote for Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, the flagbearer of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), in the pending 2024 presidential election.

Agya Koo highlighted the positive impact of President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo's administration and emphasised the importance of allowing the NPP to continue governing.

He advised the youth not to be swayed by other political parties but to support Dr. Bawumia for a better future.

“Wherever I go, both the young and old say they have not forgotten him. Considering how President Akufo-Addo and his government have provided for the nation, especially with developmental projects, we should be grateful.

"I urge the youth not to be deceived by sweet talk. For the future of Ghana and our children, I plead with you to vote for the NPP,” the actor said during an NPP campaign rally in Takoradi, as shared by JoyNews on X.

Dr. Bawumia will be competing against John Dramani Mahama, the flagbearer of the NDC, and other candidates from various political parties in the 2024 general elections, scheduled for December 7, 2024.
