I love Delay – ‘Angel’ Obinim claims

Founder and leader of the International God’s Way Church, Daniel Obinim, has revealed his undying love for radio and television presenter, Deloris Frimpong-Manso, popularly known as Delay.

The controversial preacher made this known in an interview on Soul TV recently.

According to him, his love for the broadcaster is absolute and will remain so because of the trust the celebrated presenter has reposed in him. He said he really loves Delay because she confides in him and requests for his spiritual help in several delicate matters.

“Delay has been to this house more than seven times. Delay will run to me anytime she sees me. We recently met at a nearby supermarket, she hopped from her car into mine and we spoke for more than an hour. She’s like a sister to me. She’s able to confide in me and ask for my spiritual help because she really believes in me. I really love her, not to expose her on tv or anything but I really do love her.”

The comment comes on the back of his recent defense of suggestions he slept with his junior pastor’s wife some years ago.

Despite admitting to the act in an interview with Delay some years ago, the preacher now claims he never admitted to the said act attributing the wrong reportage to a deliberate tweaking of his words on the editing bench by Delay’s production team.

According to Obinim, his response to a question on whether or not he had slept with a woman in the past was cut and replaced with his response to a follow up question on whether or not he had slept with his junior pastor’s wife.

“The editors while editing the interview did that mischief. I actually fought with Delay because of this issue but she explained to me that it was the doing of her editors. We’ve been good friends since that incident.”
