Self acclaimed Dancehall king, Shatta Wale has advised his arch rival and colleague Stonebwoy not to make the mistake of leaving Zylofon Music label as he and his fans will go hungry should he make such an unwise move.
Rumours have been rife that Stonebwoy who was having issues with Zylofon Music had his problems compounding with the signing of Shatta Wale onto the same record-management outfit.
Deep throat sources say the ‘Come From Far (Wogbe Jeke)’ hitmaker has terminated his working relationship with Zylofon–to the chargrin of the CEO, Nana Appiah Mensah, but official communications is yet to be made public.
One of the main reasons why Stonebwoy left, sources say is the fact that Zylofon signed Shatta Wale without informing him and held a meeting prior to signing Shatta Wale to discuss the signing, which they invited almost all those who matter at the label without extending an invitation to him.
Stonebwoy reportedly showed his displeasure over the development arguing was told by Zylofon before his signing that he was to represent Dancehall at the label–and therefore the signing of Shatta Wale onto the same label breaches their contract.
However speaking on Peace FM, Shatta Wale admitting Stonebwoy is a good artiste urged the latter not to rush in life and stop chase after money.
“If we have someone like this (Nana Appiah Mensah, CEO of Zylofon ) who has invested so much money in us, all we need to do as artiste is for us to be humble and patient. Money will come your way when you relax and wait for it, you don’t have to chase for money, you have to chase God. I want to tell him know that certain things in life comes the way God has arranged them, so he should be patient and work hard…he’s a good artist.
“…I love BHIM Nation fans, but if their boss is behaving this way they should talk to him. He shouldn’t leave Zylofon, if he leaves Zylofon, all BHIM nation crew will go hungry.”
