I'm reminded of the times when disgraced Eric Amoateng, then a sitting Member of Parliament, was arrested in the USA for shipping huge loads of narcotics to the USA for distribution. Amoateng's children came on ghanaweb to claim that their father was a successful farmer, but they failed to tell Ghanaians where their father acquired to funds to fund his huge farming enterprise, if those did not come from drug proceeds. Needless to say, these same sons could not be seen in court when their father was eventually found guilty and had to spend 8 years in a USA prison, another way that a corrupt NPP drug-dealing Member of Parliament could break the 8. There surely will be more denials to come in the coming days, as Hajia the Scammer's confession starts to take its toll on those trapped in the fish net.
