Ghana is one of those Countries ( IF it's not broke then dont fix it ) Ghana's problem stems from poor Management over the years.....I am gobsmacked at the buck passing by those in top Management of GEC .NO ONE WANTS TO TAKE RESPONSABILTY FOR ANYTHING ,INSTEAD THEY DO THE FINGER POINTING TO THE POWER COMPANIES FOR THE PROBLEM.
THE REALITY IS .......THE GOVERNMENT PAYS THE POWER COMPANIES TO PRODUCE THE POWER .THE GEC DISTRIBUTE THE POWER. THAT IS PROVIDED TO THEM.
THE POWER COMPANIES NEED THE GAS TO GENERATE THE POWER AND THEN SEND IT TO THE GEC.
BUT.......HERE'S THE CRUNCH...THE GOVERNMENT IS SLOW TO PAY THE GAS PRODUCERS AND RUNS UP A DEBT OF MILLIONS TO THE GAS PROVIDERS..AND SO THERE IS ONLY SO MUCH A GAS COMPANY CAN STAND IN THE WAY OF CREDIT TO THE GOVERNMENT.......SHOW ME THE MONEY !!!!!! OR YOU HAVE POWER OUTAGES BECAUSE OF NON PAYMENT TO THE GAS COMPANIES.....
