  THIS TYPE OF DISLOYALTY IS THE WORST POSSIBLE KIND. It happens with blood relatives as well. Siblings out of a mixture of spite, jealousy and resentment can say or repeat things to outsiders knowing full well that it would cause serious reputational damage and even destroy longstanding friendships ,cause alienation. Some do this in the mistaken belief that disparaging or denigrating close relatives or friends or work mates enhances their own impaired image/ standing .In actual fact this only makes them look really terrible, treacherous ,disloyal and ungrateful. Most of us will encounter this form of treachery and betrayal during our lifetime and we should be prepared to view this as part of a less than perfect human experience. And just because you sacrificed or showed great kindness to them, sometimes over many years does not mean that you will escape their poisonous darts steeped in resentment ,jealousy and vengefulness. Sometimes the chief backbiter may be a spouse or even older children. Should this happen, it is often best to love such families from a distance to avoid emotional damage at closer range. If you want to know what people think of you watch how their children regard or react to you. It is much harder for children to disguise their feelings.

  The moment your man talked about your what goes on in your life, you need to run for it. Now, you'd be ridiculed to have married a clown who doubles as a talkative. He isn't about to stop because it's his habit.
