Corruption is a practice that is ingrained into our fabric and it is hard to eradicate until it is put into our constitution with a clear punishment stated in the constitution. The fact that officials swear with the Koran or the Bible does not make them fear this practice.
Ghanaians know that the only way to be wealthy or rich is through corruption.
Officials should be made to declare their assets before taking office . The government must set up an accountability body in every constituency to monitor the development and projects by the MPs with the amount that is allocated to each MP to develop their constituencies. Some MPs use this development funds for themselves without doing anything for the constituencies. The laws in Ghana must make corruption punishable by death just like it is is China .
Ghana rewards corruption . Corrupt officials are rather hailed and respected. The only way to eradicate corruption is by making it a punishable crime enshrined in our constitution.

The accountant/director will not conspire to steal if he/she was properly brought up as a child. Let's start the family project from now and give ourselves(Ghana) about 125 years to arrive. It won't be100% but more than a pass.
