  Now that Bob and all of the original Wailers have died Al can say anything. I was there the day he came to Island to audition for Bob. I actually chatted him up by the Coke machine. He was nervous and wasn’t sure if Bob would choose him because of his style of playing the guitar. It took Bob some convincing to let him play in the band so it wasn’t as easy as Al makes out.
