  Pain can be a terrible prison, especially pain of the past. All I can ask of you is that you forgive. Firstly, forgive yourself for being unable to do anything to stop the passing of the man you loved. Secondly, forgive his family for their attempts to protect you that went wrong and lastly, forgive God for the loss of your husband.
  
  I ask these of you because it's the only way you can heal. Find a quiet retreat and pour your heart out to God. Tell Him everything you have harbored in your heart and I guarantee that you will feel better afterwards. You surely will be better. God bless you.

To the extent of putting away her fear for the reckless bike riding and also losing interest in their child because she was not told about the demise of her husband. Such love is hard to come by these days. Most relationships are now entered into for gains and benefits and not true love.
