Dancehall legend Shatta Wale has shared a piece of valuable advice with his fans about the importance of formal education and how that relates to the standard of living in the country.

According to him, despite the reservations many have about the value of going to school or any other educational institutions, education is still a key to many doors they may encounter.

The ‘Street Crown’ hitmaker said this on April 15, 2026, following a courtesy engagement with the Board and Management of the Student Loan Trust Fund at the Ministry of Education in Accra, where he was joined by Education Minister Haruna Iddrisu.

A suited-up Shatta Wale, dressed in a wine-coloured suit and black shirt, addressed the media and fans gathered after the engagement.

He announced a partnership with the Ghana Student Loan Trust Fund, revealing that something significant is in the works as the fund marks its 20th anniversary.

"Education is the key. We are partnering with the Ghana Student Loan Trust Fund for their 20th Anniversary and we have something great coming," he said.

The self-styled Dancehall King did not reveal further details of the partnership, but the teaser has already generated buzz.

The move is the latest in a growing trend of Ghanaian musicians aligning with government institutions in 2026.

Rapper Medikal recently joined forces with the Ministry of Youth for the ‘Stop Red Campaign’, while Stonebwoy paid a visit to the Nsawam Prisons, where he also donated items and met with the Director-General of Prisons, Patience Baffoe-Bonnie.
