Mr Eazi and his wife, Temi Otedola
Nigerian singer and entrepreneur Mr Eazi has opened up about how spending time with his wife during the COVID-19 lockdown strengthened their relationship.
Speaking on an interview on Way Up With Angela Yee, Mr Eazi explained that the lockdown period was the first time he and his wife had spent such a long time together without interruption.
According to him, they spent four months together in the same house during the pandemic, with no one else around them.
“During COVID, we spent the most time together. It was the first time we were spending that long. It was like four full months with just she and I. There was nobody else in the house, so I saw her all the time. We were seeing each other every day, and it made me realize how much I love her,” he said.
Mr Eazi noted that he is someone who enjoys his personal space and does not like being around people all the time.

He also shared that his wife also likes her own space, but despite that, they were able to stay together comfortably throughout the lockdown period.
“I don’t like being with people. I like my space and my wife likes her space too, but we were able to be in the same space,” he stated.
The singer further revealed that it was his wife who first suggested that they start a podcast together.
According to him, he was initially hesitant about the idea because he was not sure he wanted the world to hear him speak so often.
“She then one day said we should make a podcast. I was just thinking, the whole world was going to start hearing me speak. We’ve been doing it at our pace once a year and it’s been fun,” he added.
