Kuami Eugene is a Ghanaian singer and songwriter
Ghanaian musician Kuami Eugene has dismissed speculations of a rift between himself and Lynx Entertainment following his departure from the record label.
Speaking in an interview on Joy Prime on May 7, 2026, the singer stated that there is no bad blood between him and the management of Lynx Entertainment, insisting that their relationship remains cordial.
“Lynx and I can never fight and it will not happen. Lynx is still the biggest record label Ghana has ever had,” he said.
Kuami Eugene explained that his exit from the label was not due to any misunderstanding but rather a personal decision after spending eight years with the label.
“I didn’t leave Lynx over an issue. I left because I’ve been there for eight years. I’ve loved our journey and I’ve learnt so much from Lynx Entertainment,” he stated.

The artiste further revealed that the label organised a special send-off event for him before his departure.
“I’m very glad that I was the first artiste that they’ve thrown a sign-off party for. We had a big dinner, we all had fun and Richie said to me that they’re available anytime I need them,” he shared.
According to Kuami Eugene, his relationship with the label remains strong, as some members of the Lynx team even assisted him with arrangements for his recent EP before its release.
“Before I released my EP, some of them even heard it before it came out because I needed help with the arrangement and which songs I should put first because they’re known for that,” he noted.
He stressed that Lynx Entertainment played an important role in his career growth and believes the bond between both parties will remain intact.
“They’ve been around for a very long time, so Lynx and I are very cool and I don’t think we’ll ever have bad blood,” he added.
