KKD is a Ghanaian broadcaster and Presidential Special Envoy to the Caribbean
Veteran Ghanaian broadcaster and Presidential Special Envoy to the Caribbean, Kwesi Kyei Darkwah, has opened up about the reason he decided to settle down at a young age.
In an interview on Power FM shared on X and sighted by GhanaWeb on June 7, 2026, KKD revealed that his decision to marry early was influenced by advice he received from his uncle.
According to him, his uncle told him during his younger years that delaying marriage could mean that the woman he would eventually marry might have relationships with other men before they met.

“I hope everyone gets a good marriage. I got married early because my uncle gave me some advice. He told me that even though I had no money, ladies were still all over me.
“He added that when I eventually got money, even more women would come around. But if I delayed marriage for too long, fools would be with the woman who would later become my wife. And I realised there was some truth in what he said,” he stated.
