DKB is a popular stand-up comedian
Ghanaian stand-up comedian DKB has taken aim at Black Stars forward Jordan Ayew following Ghana's World Cup exit at the hands of Colombia on July 4, 2026, questioning what went wrong with his performances at the tournament.
In a social media post addressed directly to the player, DKB expressed his frustration.
"Bra Jordan, I am not smiling. You qualified us to the World Cup. Now, push the country forward. What happened? Is it the coach that told you not to play well? Because I don't understand," he said.
The comedian pointed to Ayew's performances on the international club stage as evidence that he was capable of far more.
"On the international platform, look at the type of goals you scored. If you score the same for us, what will happen?" he asked.
DKB admitted he had tried to convince himself that the player’s outings had gone better than they actually did, but to no avail.
"I am trying to reverse everything in my mind. All the moments you fumbled, I am imagining that it went well. It's not all working.

DKB ended his post with a question asked by many Ghanaian fans left disappointed by the team's performance.
"Right now, what should we do with the jerseys we have?" he asked.
Ghana lost 1-0 to Colombia in the round of 32 knockout stage at the 2026 World Cup, marking another disappointing World Cup campaign.
