Oseikrom Sikani picks Sarkodie over Dee Money as Ghana’s most fashionable artiste
Within Ghana’s pop culture space, one of the debates has been centred around Sarkodie and Dee Money, with fans often arguing over who is the more fashionable artiste.
However, Ghanaian musician Oseikrom Sikani, when asked to choose between the two, declared that rapper Sarkodie is the most fashionable artiste in Ghana ahead of Dee Money.
In an interview on Kumasi-based Angel FM, Oseikrom Sikani explained that while he was in school, he admired Dee Money’s fashion sense, but after completing school about seven years ago, he has never met him in person, making it difficult for him to judge his style beyond what he sees online.
According to him, Dee Money is a “picture artiste”, meaning someone who dresses up and takes pictures for social media, while Sarkodie is someone who consistently looks fashionable whenever he is seen in public.

“This is easy. Between Sarkodie and Dee Money, I would choose King Sark. When I was in school, I used to admire Dee Money, but after completing school about seven years ago, I have never come across him in person.
“I have come to realise that Dee Money is more of a ‘picture artiste’ who focuses on dressing up and taking photos for social media. But with Sarkodie, whenever you meet him in town, he is always well-dressed and stylish,” he said.
Oseikrom Sikani added that the only person he can compare Sarkodie to in terms of fashion within the creative industry is Ova Wise.
“The only person I can compare Sarkodie to is Ova Wise. Every single day you meet these people, they are always fashionably dressed,” he said.
He further stated that he only considers someone fashionable after meeting the person in real life, adding that he has never met Dee Money before.
