The word Investors is used in Ghana ineffectively. You have many Ghanaians who are out of the country and want to come home and start businesses, invest in the building the economy. But whenever we make that move, the jealousy of those who could not or chose not to travel out weighs our ambition. Those steal and conspire to collapse businesses, fight and frustrate you until they see you give up. I know my friends who have tried to settle back home in Ghana and started businesses only to pack up and go back oversees. So, the issue is not investment, it's the mindset and attitude of Ghanaians. We will rather help a foreigner succeed that see a Ghanaian succeed.
