Kwadwo Safo Akofena jubilates after injunction on father's funeral
Kwadwo Safo Akofena has expressed gratitude to God after a High Court granted an injunction temporarily halting the funeral arrangements for the late Apostle Kwadwo Safo.
In a video shared on social media on July 29, 2026, Akofena was seen jubilating shortly after the court proceedings, attributing the outcome to divine intervention.
"We're done with everything. God has done it for us. It's not by my power; we will give all the credit to God," he said.

His comments come after lawyers for the Kristo Asafo Mission announced that the court had granted a 10-day injunction restraining Sarah Adwoa Safo from proceeding with the funeral of her late father while legal issues surrounding the burial are addressed.
The parties are expected to return to court after the expiration of the injunction for further proceedings on the matter.
