The food eaten in the Western world has resulted in obesity, high rates of heart problems, diabetes and cancer. These problems have now started to plague Ghanaians. One thing we forget is that many people do not have money to deal with these diseases. Ghanaians (in general)have become too big and we are also in such a hurry to wear the latest fashion whether it looks good or is decent. I am not even going to talk about the fake hair extensions that many people are wearing (whether it looks good on them or not). I was told to "do something with my hair" just because I chose to wear it natural for awhile. We need to stop thinking that everything from the West is good. We should copy good things and not bad things. We should not allow non-Africans to think that we cannot do anything right.
