My condolences to komla's family. Komla's death hit me hard as memories of him entering and exiting legon hall(main hall) of the university of Ghana over a decade ago seem so real. I also had the opportunity of interviewing him on my show at radio universe(university of Ghana's radio station) back then. His magical voice and smile are by far unmatched. Rest in peace Komla.

Yes we Ghanaians have really lost a gem. A fine gentleman who represented Ghana and Africa as a whole. May Jehovah God show him mercy and give his soul rest. Amen.

I school with one Auntie Charity Dumor. The name Afeke means THE ROOT in EWE and He has been the ROOT SOURCE OF SOMANY TRUE AFRICAN STORIES on BBC. Komla shall miss you greatly.

I always held my head high whenever I saw Komla doing what he did best on BBC World Focus on Africa.Seeing a fellow Ghanaian in UK putting African in continent in general and Ghana in particular on the world map made me happy beyond description.The shock of his demise has still not gone away,given that he handled his programme on BBC on Friday.You will greatly be missed!Fare thee well the gem of Ghana and Africa.
