incidentally your article is the most outdated and primitive talking about 20th century. Its sad to know how you perceive personal appearance and our true heart. case in point I Met Samini via jfk to Ghana. I never knew of him as an actor but after interacting with him I found him as a humble and down to earth guy. was I suppose to look at his hair style before interacting. shame unto you all with the dead primitive gong.

Hair styles that doesn't conceed with African roots and cultures are negative pretentions .lndulging in Brazilian or lndian hair styles on African soil makes one look guilty ,strange and in the spheres of our traditional environment a Whore in the case of the femine. She becomes simply obscure, a sense of guilty and betrayal that undermines her stability of her African womanhood. Finally, the African climate created without those hair styles ,so why go for it under this heavy sun beat? Rather unfortunate, capitalist imposes and personifies any looks on our soil, in vague terms, to enriches themselves!
Thanks for your article.

I like what you said1 It is true but it will take a lot to make a change because fashion has become more important than being African.
