HOW CAN THEY BE SEARCHING FOR A MISSING PERSON WHEN SOME OF THEM HAVE THEIR BACKS TURNED AND WERE NOT LOOKING IN THE RIVER?
WHY DONT THEY DIVE INTO THE LAKE IF THEY ARE SEARCHING FOR REAL.

It hasn't been confirmed but he's most likely dead. A week has passed and still no sign of him. Lack of technology played a part in this. What kind of search team is there in Ghana? This is not the Titanic where you use a boat to look for floating bodies, we've passed those times! If this was in the UK, the drowned body would have been found either the same day or the following day. All you need to do is go to the area where he drowned and send a diving team to go and search. Knowing a majority of Ghanaians can't swim, I'm not surprised they haven't tried this yet.

My deepest concern and regards to the families of Castro and Janet.

But, folks, it is time to call off the search; and the ongoing circus of 'pastors'; 'malams;' and assorted snake oil salesmen claiming to know where the pair is located and they can find them. One malam had to be rescued from drowning by the Marine Police for his quixotic efforts.

Stop that circus.

The families of these two individuals are suffering the loss of their beloved as it is. And they do not need the charade anymore.
The families should be officially informed (not by Radio/TV/WhatsApp, etc.,) but rather in person, respectfully, in their homes that all efforts to locate their loved ones have proven futile, and that they are presumed dead.

This will begin the process of mourning for the family and the numerous loved ones.
