  So what happened at Nsawam Hospital? DId they examine this patient and could not diagnose that he was having an acute abdomen or what? This is really bad.

  He said they were under resourced and could not have detected Sima had an appendicitis problem. As a stupid prison officer, no one expects you to detect that ,not even a doctor could have known that without hospital equipment ...

  He said they were under resourced and could not have detected Sima had an appendicitis problem. As a stupid prison officer, no one expects you to detect that ,not even a doctor could have known that without hospital equipments.You could have sent him to hospital on time.
  A simple apology and a call to the government to assist to avoid such mishaps in the future would have been a more matured way to deal with this sad and unnecessary death.

  Names-calling will never absolve the problem of under-resourcing of the Prisons. You are suggesting a "call to government to assist" the Prisons Service! So long as we refuse to see the importance of the Prisons in the administration of justice in this country, such mishaps will continue to happen. We should continue neglecting the Prisons and seeing it as dumping grounds for the Police and the courts.
