Well, dont blame them we Gas have made it so by being very weak. On the wisa issue -it serves him right -as a grown man he should think before act. No one should justify what he did and if there is a law against it, he should face it squarely as a deterant for others in the future.

  Again, depending on what part of Accra people grow up, they may not know any Ga at all. I knew this from a lot of kids who grew up in Dansoman (also North Kaneshie) and attended preparatory/internationals schools. The either spoke Twi, Fanti, Ewes or English and no Ga, because Dansoman was a settlement with practically no Gas. Most of them were Akans so that Akan dominated that area, even though that part is stil in Accra.
  
  Of course Akans that grew up in areas like Bukom, Swalaba, Mamprobi, Korle Wokon/ Gonno etc could speak fluent Ga.

  I practically grew up in Accra(7yrs high school,4 in university,1 year National service,3yrs working)and wanted to learn how to speak Ga but these idiotic GAs were so busy pretending to be Englishmen I couldn't learn the lang ...

  I practically grew up in Accra(7yrs high school,4 in university,1 year National service,3yrs working)and wanted to learn how to speak Ga but these idiotic GAs were so busy pretending to be Englishmen I couldn't learn the language.On the other hand I learnt to speak Hausa fluently from my friendship with some Northerners in Kumasi.I wanted to learn Hausa and they taught me without any stupid preconditions of ceasing to be an Ashanti.Very soon only Ewe, Fanti,Twi and Hausa will be spoken in Accra.
