Even an a common everyday worker sometimes have to take either a pay cut or make sacrifices then when he's experience get known to people then he charges for what he has made for himself. How much would you want to be paid for playing in a small gathering in a small corner of town at an outdooring or funeral ? This bragging of international shows deceive no one. Build yourselves up and play long lasting good music and you can be paid better. When you visit the ghettos and play for some 20 people 3000 is what you deserve.

Shatta Wale may seem to be right but there some challenges been faced by most event organisers abroad why? You ask yourself how many Ghanaian people living abroad will abandon their works and pay for such shows? Before a certain artiste will travel to abroad for a show, event organisers will have to spend more to do a lot of publicities to create awareness in order that they may see massive turnouts which will generate income for them to be able to pay artiste better, I recently witnessed one of our Ghanaian hip life artiste performed in Bronx US, I don't want to mention names but seriously the turn out was very sad simply because majority even work on Sunday's and by the time they get home they are really exhausted, you then ask yourself how will Organisers get money to pay our artiste better? I agree with Shatta perfectly though but there will always be difference performing in your homeland than abroad,
