This is a really principled thing to do - tell me when NPP has ever chastised any of its commentators and supporters for their intemperate language. Even the issue with the British High Commissioner, when we all knew it was their Maxwell Jumah who insulted him, were they brave enough to directly address him? And you NPP believe you are the cultured party? At least NDC is principled enough to speak directly to Bukom, and to come out to say they will not allow any insults in support of John Mahama. When has your Nana come out to condemn any such behaviour? Hypocrites!

Contrary to Ghanaian culture? If you want to stop Banku, try getting into the ring with him. You may not condone his choices, but what he does with his body is his business and only his. Who made you the culture police in Ghana? Walk around Ghana and you'll see men and women with faces that seem to have shades of color totally different from the rest of their bodies. Many Ghanaians may not like what the bleachers are doing to their faces, but they've learned to leave the bleachers alone to do their thing. The guy says he wants to be like Michael, and who are we to disagree with his "ambition"?

Some Ghanaians have been bleaching their skins long before Banku was born, and he's just a one link in that chain of bleachers. Banku is not asking anyone to do as he does, and I see no reason why one should be alarmed. Should he contract skin cancer, it'll be his pain and no one else's. Your system of government, your Ghana official language, and many forms of dressing are certainly not a part of Ghanaian culture, yet you embrace these practices.
