Peter Tosh won the Grammy but he will never be greater than Bob Marley who never won it. Shatta Wale's absence is an indictment on the Ghana music industry not Shatta. In a competition where every country intends to win, we decide not to put out best foot forward, because of politics and stupidity. It would be stupid to think that Shatta and his fans expected to be nominated considering the fact that it's Okraku Mantey and his cohorts who did the nomination. We never for once thought about Shatta being nominated and don't make it seem like what those twerps did has had any effect on the SM movement. Did you see him beg to be nominated on social media like someone did? He reacted to what haters put on social media and nothing else. It's just like "cutting your nose to spite your face". The fact that even Mzvee was nominated last year tells the whole story. This is a sham. Let them go and take their backstage award while we continue taking over.
