The Chief of Jinijini in the Berekum West Constituency of the Bono Region, Nana Asare Baffour Tutu II, has said that Vice President and presidential candidate of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, has demonstrated a clear vision to move the country forward, which will benefit the youth.

Speaking at the campaign visit of Dr. Bawumia in Jinijini on October 10, 2024, Nana Baffour Tutu II described Bawumia as an emerging star whose vision aligns with the direction of the world.

"To the youth of Ghana, I say your emerging star is here. He is Bawumia, the digital man," the Chief said.

"The whole world is going digital, so I want to urge you that on December 7, let us all vote for Dr. Alhaji Mahamudu Bawumia to move our country forward."

The Chief also commended the NPP government for ensuring swift development in the community since the area was elevated to a district seven years ago.

"We asked the NPP government of President Akufo-Addo to grant us a district, and that has been duly done," said the Chief.

"Since then, the level of development we have received here is unimaginable. The level of development we have had in seven years, some districts which have been in existence for about 40 years don't even have."

The Chief singled out projects, including the ongoing construction of the Agenda 111 Hospital and the District Road Improvement Project (DRIP) equipment, which the government has sent to them and all other districts across the country.

Dr. Bawumia expressed gratitude to the Chiefs and people of the community for their massive show of love.

In his address, which was cheered by a large crowd, Dr. Bawumia shared his vision on agriculture, education, reducing the cost of living, among many others.

He urged the people of Berekum West to vote for him because he has demonstrated a clearer vision to transform the country, unlike his opponent, Mahama, who has had the chance to be President before and could not live up to expectations.
