President Akufo-Addo has reiterated his commitment to investigate all forms of corruption allegation that would be leveled against any official of his government.
The president has in furtherance of this commitment ordered all the security agencies to expedite every corruption allegation raised against any government appointee saying that “I have given instructions to the law enforcement agencies to investigate everyone of the allegations.”
He however indicated that “persons who make these corruption allegations must prepare to prove them to get to the bottom of the assertions.”
These comments from the President come on the back of what he says are accusations being thrown about in the media that his government is corrupt.
He was speaking at the 25th Annual Delegate’s Conference of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) in the Central region, a region the President said won them the highest number of new Parliamentary seats in the 2016 general elections.
