I won’t be shocked if Akufo-Addo is borrowed to be president of another country after leaving office – Wontumi

Ashanti Regional Chairman of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Bernard Antwi Boasiako, known popularly as Wontumi, is of the view that if Ghanaians don’t appreciate Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, other countries do.

According to him, other countries would kill to have President Akufo-Addo has their president because of his achievements in Ghana.

Wontumi is of the view that the president has outdone Dr. Kwame Nkrumah in terms of development.

He believes that with the extent of development seen under the current president, “I always say that when Akufo-Addo leaves power, another country will come and take him away from us so that he will be their president. You know that when Nkrumah was overthrown he was a co-president in another country. Akufo-Addo has broken Kwame Nkrumah’s record and I’m sure London or America will come and borrow him to become President to stabilize the whole world.”
